The Dust Has Settled

The dust has settled…clarity returned.

Why stir it up?

Do You feel the need to ease your conscience?

When others have moved on,

and left the dust to settle.

Their attention up to date.

Bless them…

Let them rest now.

Rest, Here, Now…

Be Blessed

The Journey…What do we seek?

What is it that we seek in life…..happiness? A sense of purpose…fulfilled? A feeling that we are doing what we are here for? Enlightenment or at least progress on that path?(if you believe in it). Perhaps a sense that your life has not been wasted? Or that you’ve done more good than harm? Unity with some divine essence that you might believe in?

Perhaps you’d like to write your own blog, whether public or private with your thoughts about what it is we seek. You could put a link to it below.

Or you could comment below and join in the journey by sharing your view?..

For me I think that all the above examples fit for what it is I seek.

The Source

Seeking the source from where these words come

Free will handed over and trust given that the source will flow

Holding still this turbid mind that it may clear and words seen and written

What gems from beyond the horizon today will bring?

On the surf of the tide that ebbs and flows

Catch the wave and feel moved to write down those marvels

And once again to stillness go to halt the interupted flow

Pausing in between the shallows of the seaborn driftwood

Lost again the tide has turned of the mis beguiling mind

I often wonder about my writing style compared to others. It seems that i often just write down what I think at that moment.

Is this style called stream of consciousness? If so it also links nicely in with the spirituality/philosophy that I study/try to live etc

So I decided to give it a fresh go, the above verses written(hopefully)in that manner trusting that the words that came, came from the source.

Journey Into The Unknown

Would you like to join me on a journey into the unknown? You may have a few questions, as do I…

  1. Who am I?
  2. Where are we going?
  3. Which direction?
  4. When are we leaving?
  5. What type of journey is it?
  6. What do we need to take with us?
  7. Where are we leaving from?
  8. Why are we going?
  9. What do we seek?
  10. What should we leave behind?

If you’d like to join me, then feel free to suggest changing or adding any questions

Share your story here…

I could share my story, but my story is not true, just a story made up by me, the ego.

I’d tell you of all those moments that came to my mind while I was writing it, coloured by my character etched upon the mind over years of sleeping through time. I would tell you of my highs and lows filtered by memory and anxiety of losing my happiness due to reacting to my false perceptions of your false perceptions.

I could share my story here…

But it’s not true! Just a misty view.

Origami man

newspaper man origami

As I awaken, at the beginningof the day

It seems to me that life is strange in a most peculiar way.

It all joins up together, situations to address,

Bends me to it’s will and then creates my life afresh.

As days unfold my life reveals the depths that lie within….

It’s like I’m made of paper, all folded up and thin.

I look outside and see the rain and contemplate the weather

And then I glance and notice that my skin is made of leather.

I’m in this bendy body that’s creased up by the sun

Unfolding through the seasons touch of nature being One

I’m an origami man from an origami womb.

When I die they’ll lay me flat in an origami tomb.

Broken Clouds

As I look out of the window I see broken clouds. Are they like thoughts? With the clear sky the gaps between thoughts. Light pours through the gaps and causes the ground to light up brightly showing me the fine detail of what appears before me. Some days it’s overcast and I don’t seem to get a glimpse of the sun. Some times I get lost in the fog!

I’m a bit like a sun worshiper!
